Many top-class participants at Nebelhorn Trophy 2025 in the run-up to the Olympic Games


The crowd saw at the 57th Nebelhorn Trophy excellent performances at well attended competitions.

In The Men’s event the 2025 Cranberry Cup Bronze medalist Stephen Gogolev (CAN) won his first title. He scored a new personal best of 255.06. Second was Andrew Torgashev (USA). Third the reigning European Champion Lukas Britschgi (SUI). The German skaters Arthur Wolfgang Mai, Kai Jagoda and Luca Fünfer were placed 12th, 13th and 16th.

Minerva Fabienne Hase and Nikita Volodin (GER) have beaten the reigning world champions Riku Miura and Ryuichi Kihara (JPN).  It’s her 4th Nebelhorn Trophy title in a row. They won by 0.35 points due to the better free program. They scored 221.38. They have thus reached the minimum number of points for nomination to the Olympic Games.
The third place went to Alisa Efimova and Misha Mitrofanov (USA). Annika Hocke and Robert Kunkel (GER) finished 8th. With 180.04 points, they reached the lower nomination value. The scoring has to be repeated a second time. Letizia Roscher and Luis Schuster (GER) placed 14th.


ISU Grand Prix Final 2024/25 Champion Amber Glenn strikes gold

Amber Glenn (USA) won the Women's title. She was the only women in the competition performing two clean triple Axel in short program and free skating. Mone Chiba finished second due to the best free skate. Jia Shin finished third. She had been in the lead after the short program. Anna Elizabeth Grekul (GER) was placed in her first Challenger Series competition 15th.

Lilah Fear and Lewis Gibson (GBR) scored 201.51. Second place went to Christina Carreira and Anthony Ponomarenko (USA). Marie-Jade Lauriault and Romain le Gac (CAN) went third. They have beaten Jennifer Janse van Rensburg and Benjamin Steffan (GER) with the better Free Dance by 0.12 points. Janse van Rensburg / Steffan reached the lower nomination value. Karla Maria Karl / Kai Hoferichter (GER) finished 7th, Lilia Schubert / Nikita Remeshevskiy (GER) 8th.
